TEL’s partners provide the financial and research resources necessary to help the Company achieve its objectives. A privately owned company with a number of independent shareholders, TEL’s main funder is Eco2 Ltd. TEL has also received support from Carbon Connections UK Ltd, as well as EU funding through the Welsh Government, and the Carbon Trust. The Company’s research partnership with Cranfield University plays a vital role in the ongoing design and development of its DeltaStream technology.

Established in 2002, Eco2 is a leading renewable energy project developer specialising in initiating, developing, financing and operating renewable energy projects throughout the UK and Europe.
Eco2 and its shareholders are the main funder and driving force behind TEL.

TEL has received significant EU Funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Welsh Government.
- Carbon Connections UK Ltd
Carbon Connections UK Ltd has a shareholding interest in TEL, and is based at the University of East Anglia. It is recognised as a world leading research centre for environmental sciences and was set up to encourage and invest in carbon-saving innovation through technological advances.
- Cranfield University
Cranfield University has been involved in the design and development of DeltaStream since 2007, and is a research partner for the Ramsey Sound Project.
Cranfield is a centre of excellence in the field of engineering and has a global reputation for inspirational teaching and research, industrial-scale facilities and superior links with industry and commerce.
- Pembroke Port
TEL has entered into a partnership with Milford Haven Port Authority (MHPA) to develop an operating base at Pembroke Port for the sea trials of its DeltaStream demonstration unit in Ramsey Sound.
